Introducing the JRA Best Workplaces Survey

New name, new media partner

Over the past 9 years, the unlimited/JRA Best Places to Work Survey has become New Zealand’s leading survey of employee engagement, and a benchmark for any organisation wanting to become a great place to work. We are delighted to announce that from 1 March 2009 The New Zealand Herald will become the new media partner to our JRA Best Workplaces Survey following the end of our association with Unlimited magazine at the end of February.

We are very excited about our new partner, and the unprecedented media coverage and greater exposure and recognition this will mean for our rebranded ‘JRA Best Workplaces Survey in association with The New Zealand Herald’ and our winners and finalists.

The Herald is published by APN, the largest operator of radio broadcasting and outdoor advertising in Australasia, and is New Zealand’s most widely read metropolitan newspaper.

New brand, extending to Australia, but nothing else changes!

Along with a new media partner we have also taken the opportunity to rebrand the survey to the ‘JRA Best Workplaces Survey’. This new brand will also be used when we launch a series of ‘Best Workplaces’ surveys in Australia out of our JRA (Aust) Pty Ltd office in Brisbane in the next few months. The existing questionnaire, options and pricing, registration procedures, the availability of benchmarking, and the outstanding online survey questionnaire and real-time reporting will all be unchanged however.

As in the past, we will continue to recognise and celebrate our ‘Best Workplace’ winners at an Awards Evening event, and organise a series of post-survey seminars to enable others to learn from winners and finalists.

Registrations for the JRA Best Workplaces Survey open

1 June through 31 August 2009

JRA Best Workplaces Survey available for completion

November 2009

Awards Evening (final date TBA) and publication of results and profile of finalists/winners in a special New Zealand Herald Supplement

February 2010

A series of seminars at which JRA will present research based on data collected during the 2009 survey and winners/finalists will share the secrets of their success!

CLARIFICATION

You may be aware that Unlimited magazine and EMA have recently announced a workplace conference we understand has been scheduled for the end of March.

This is NOT the Best Places to Work Seminar Series held in the past, and JRA is not associated with the conference announced by Unlimited, will not be present, and will not be presenting any analyses carried out by us on our 2008 ‘Best Places to Work’ data as we have done in previous years.
