For the purposes of the Best Places to Work competition, we will be recording your organisation's results as at close of business, Friday 29 September.

Once you have received your results….What Next!

Running a workplace survey is easy - it's what happens next that requires work! So what is good process when it comes to "doing something" with your results? Broadly, we recommend that you consider the following steps;

  1. Let everyone know that the survey is closed and thank them for their participation.
  2. Look over your online reports. A great place to start is the 10 High/Low Rated Questions list - what did your organisation score well in? What was not so good?
  3. Your management team should be first in line with specific survey feedback. A presentation of the results is a great idea.
  4. Give staff feedback (newsletter, email, poster in the lunch room, etc). We recommend a basic summary of high and low rated questions. Plan to get back to people later with your followup plans.
  5. When you do make changes to your organisation as a result of the survey, make sure people know that the change was a response to their survey feedback.
