Survey Reporting and BPTW 2005 Update

Survey Reporting Update

Survey-online.com - the technology behind all of the surveys that we run - is currently undergoing the most significant redevelopment since the original build five years ago. You may have noticed the preliminary step of the development already, as we have restyled our survey reporting pages, graphs and buttons.

Stage One of the development is due for release in November this year, and will look completely different from our current reporting. Reports will have improved reporting functionality and enhanced user-friendliness (particularly with respect to benchmarking, trending, and demographic analysis).

Stage Two is where survey-online.com will set new standards for survey reporting, and will be up and running for Best Places to Work 2006. Here is where we are heading:

  • Online demographic analysis will allow larger organisations the ability to crosstab results (e.g. view the results of people who selected "Department A" and "Team Member" - confidentiality rules will apply)
  • Consolidated reports will include trend and benchmark results if selected, and be available in Microsoft Word format
  • Improved High/Low question reporting
  • Results available in table format as an online option
  • Search function for Comments Analysis

Stage Three promises fundamental changes to questionnaire design allowing us to offer our clients outstanding flexibility in both the questionnaire and reporting aspects of surveying, and our 360 degree feedback tool will be enhanced as well.

Iain McCombe at JRA is leading the development team, with our partners at Augen NZ providing the actual site development, and design provided by BKA Interactive. If you have any suggestions or would like to discuss your organisation's special requirements, please email him at iain@johnrobertson.co.nz - he would love to hear your feedback.

Best Places to Work Update

The unlimited/JRA Best Places to Work Survey 2005 is now in full swing - we already have more participating organisations than we had at the conclusion of the survey in 2001, and we're only 2 weeks in to the July-September survey period!

If your organisation is interested in exploring the possibility of participating in the Best Places to Work Survey, give Leighton Abbot at JRA a call on (09) 378 2003 to discuss. More information about the survey can be found on our website, www.jra.co.nz/bestplacestowork
