There is still time for your organisation to participate in the unlimited/JRA
Best Places to Work Survey, even though the survey will close at the end of
August. Perhaps we should just cover what is required from your end - and ours -
to get the survey underway:
1. Take a look at the survey reporting options and costings on our Cost Calculator. The basic
survey starts at just $695+gst, and some options like benchmarking can be added
at a later date if you're not sure at the moment.
2. Need a 'compelling proposition'? Download our publication Employee Engagement: From Insight to
Action. This is great to put in front of your Senior Management Team, and
half of the publication covers the post-survey process, giving you ideas about
what to do once the survey closes. Contact us if you'd like a hard copy.
3. When you're ready to register, just fill out the basic
form on our website.
4. We'll be in touch within a couple of hours to confirm a few admin details
and then we'll start setting up your survey. A basic survey can be set up on the
day you register!
5. We'll send you through all the info you need to get your survey underway.
But that info isn't a secret... have a think about:
* The length of time you'll run the survey - most organisations run the
survey over a 2 week period, although many organisations experience a great
response if they just run the survey over a single week
* When you'd like to launch the survey - how about Mon 25 Aug - Fri 29
Aug??
* Pre-survey communication - take a look at our suggestions and
examples. You'll need to give your staff a couple of days' notice that the
survey is coming, then plan to remind people one week in, and then again a
couple of days out from survey close and again on the last day.
* Get line managers on board - talk to them about why you're doing the
survey. Answers to FAQs are on our
website, and reasons to survey are covered on the BPTW
homepage. Other organisations participating in the survey are listed here too.
Finally, if you have to need to extend your survey beyond the end of August,
that's fine - we'll just take your survey results as of 31 August for the
purposes of the unlimited/JRA Best Places to Work Awards.
If you've got any queries or would like to discuss your options, please call
Leighton Abbot at JRA on (09) 378 2003.
