JRA Workshop September 2011: From Insight to Action - What happens after the survey?

Your employees have taken the time to respond to your survey – now they’ll be keen to hear about the results and, more importantly, what action is going to be taken as a result of their feedback!

This practical, hands-on workshop will give you the skills and resources to design and implement a successful post-survey programme.

The ‘post-survey’ phase is a vital aspect of the employee survey process and one that can leave managers unsure of how best to move forward. We’re here to help and will share with you:

  • How to focus on what’s most important to your employees: identifying the key areas that will have the greatest impact
  • The Survey Feedback Model
  • Best practices of successful action planning – and a hands-on session putting this into practice
  • Connecting survey follow up to strategy and business outcomes
  • And what not to do!

You will also get to hear the stories and words of advice from our guest speakers who have implemented post-survey programmes – and reaped the benefits.

If your organisation is participating in this year's JRA Best Workplaces Survey, or any of JRA’s other workplace surveys, this workshop is for you!

Guest Speakers

Auckland: Mark Ashton – Head of HR and Julia Stace - HR Advisor, Warehouse Stationery
Well out of the running five years ago, in 2010 Warehouse Stationery were awarded both the 'Best Large Workplace' and 'Most Improved Large Workplace' Awards. Over the past 5 years of surveying with JRA, Mark and Julia have been centrally involved in Warehouse Stationery’s story and will share Warehouse Stationery’s experience in interpreting their results each year, identifying the focus areas and taking action for improvement.

Wellington: Melissa Jordan – General Manager People and Culture, Vehicle Testing New Zealand
VTNZ moved across to JRA’s survey approach two years ago – but their journey started long before that. They have taken a pragmatic approach to laying strong foundations, overcoming the hurdles and seeking out continuous improvement opportunities based on the feedback they receive in their engagement survey. Now well on their way to building a great workplace, Melissa will share her approach to turning the survey data into taking action where it counts.
