Each year, the JRA Best Workplaces Survey reveals the top organisations to work for in New Zealand. In 2009, 216 organisations participated in the survey, with the following organisations being rated New Zealand's Best Workplaces – by their employees.

Congratulations to Colliers International New Zealand , the Overall Winner (and small-medium workplace category winner) of the 2009 survey. Other category winners were Flight Centre (NZ) (large workplace), Barkers Mens Clothing (medium-large workplace), and Big FM (small workplace) .
Many organisations participate in the JRA Best Workplaces Survey on an annual basis. The following organisations were recognised for having the greatest improvement in their overall score from 2008 to 2009: Ruapehu Alpine Lifts (large workplace category), Barkers Mens Clothing (medium-large workplace category), PayGlobal (small-medium workplace category), and Tamaki Healthcare (small workplace category).
Congratulations also to the organisations joining our 'Five-Year League' - a new annual award presented to organisations that have achieved 'finalist' status in the JRA Best Workplaces Survey in at least 5 of the last 6 years - an exceptional achievement in maintaining a great workplace. We are pleased to announce the inaugural recipients of this award are AMI Insurance, Flight Centre (NZ), Outward Bound Trust of New Zealand, Overland Footwear, and Vero Insurance New Zealand.

JRA Best Workplaces Five-Year League |
The Five-Year League recognises the achievements of organisations that consistently rank as New Zealand’s Best Workplaces. To become a member of the Five-Year League, an organisation must have been a finalist in their size category in the JRA Best Workplaces Survey five times within the last six years, including the year the award is being given.
