Organisation Size Categories
35 organisations have been identified as Finalists for 2008, ranked within their respective organisation size categories using their Overall Performance Index score from the survey. From these rankings we will present four awards:

Finalist and winning organisations earn the right to be identified as a ‘Best Places to Work in New Zealand Finalist 2008.’
Most Improved Workplaces
There will be a group of awards presented to the organisations with the greatest overall improvement in their Performance Index score across 2007 and 2008 (eligibility requirements must be met for surveys in both years). We will present four awards:

Highly Commended
We will also be presenting two ‘Highly Commended’ awards, based on submissions outlining the most successful/innovative methods they have used to improve employee engagement (supported by their survey results). We will present two awards:

Overall Winner
The final award of the evening will be presented to the Overall Winner of the unlimited/JRA Best Places to Work in New Zealand Awards 2008. The Overall Winner will be chosen from the four organisation size category winners, having regard to the following criteria:
- Consistency in performance scores over time
- Organisation size
- Response rate
- Organisation demographics, including geographic spread
- Other special circumstances
The winning organisation earns the right to be identified as the ‘Overall Winner - Best Places to Work in New Zealand 2008.’
The selection of the Highly Commended awards and the Overall Winner will be made by the Organisers (Infego Communications and JRA), and their decision will be final. No correspondence regarding the selection of the winners of these awards will be entered into.
Added benefit
All attendees to the event will also receive as part of their ticket price a copy of the Best Places to Work December/January issue of unlimited magazine, which will list and showcase the finalists and winners of the unlimited/JRA Best Places to Work Survey 2008.
